The Business Model

Our ability to reduce costs starts with our business model. For starters, we do not have a physical location. For all intents and purposes, we are a virtual company without any of the brick-and-mortar overhead associated with a traditional business. Where our competitors are forced to inflate their rates to pay for buildings, equipment, maintenance, landscaping, etc., we pay for a server and internet connection.

At our core is a revolutionary project management system which allows us to be very efficient about project planning and delivery. Our custom system connects project components, developers and stakeholders unlike any system on the market. In true Solutionhead fashion, this system was designed to be efficient and extremely effective and is a key component to our ability to produce top quality systems at an unusually reasonable price.

The final piece is the brute force of our business: our professional contractors. We found that, with our business model, it makes more sense to work with highly skilled independent contractors rather than maintain a full staff. We've found that, with proper screening, contractors have a tendency to be more independent and, for that reason, tend to exert more pride into their work. Rather than treating their work as a product of the company, our contractors see their work as their own—which is important because we expect excellence! Utilizing independent contractors also allows us to provide more diverse array of services.

Factor in the fact that with less operating expenses we are able to offer quality pay for quality work and you can see how this business model works. Furthermore, we spend very little on advertising because our customers are generally inclined to recommend our services. In the world of information systems, we are definitely the little guy. At Solutionhead Technologies, we aim to replace complicated processes with efficient systems. We firmly believe that an intuitive, usable interface can not only improve productivity but also reduce costs and increase morale in general.

Our company’s stance is that the interface to any piece of technology, be it hardware or software, is as essential as the system running beneath it. It is our duty as software professionals to ensure that the end product is designed and developed with a structurally sound framework and an empathetically elegant user interface. It is our mission as business professionals to ensure our clients receive the best quality at the lowest price.

Company Vision

Solutionhead Technologies sees a world eager to improve its technology base. Each advancement in hardware creates the need to adapt and develop a new generation of compliant software solutions. We aim to drive both ends of this spectrum through custom solutions as well as industry-specific out-of-the-box solutions.

In terms of the current through 5 years, our focus is on replacing old unusable and inefficient processes with software which increases productivity with an improved user experience and yet is able to keep up with the consumers ever-changing need with extensibility built into the core.

We understand that the hi-tech industry we are in moves much faster than most any industry in existence; and that if you are not pushing forward you are falling behind. It is because of this realization that we are preparing ourselves to take the reins and propel our software development with new hardware compositions to meet the advancing hi-tech world.

Company History

Solutionhead Technologies, LLC was originally formed in 2005 in Las Cruces, New Mexico as a DBA for, now managing member, Vincent Kelly. After 3 years of picking up side-jobs, Vincent developed enough of a clientele that he decided to take the company full time. Since then, we've developed custom software solutions for some very credible companies, including: New Mexico State University, New Mexico Public Service Education Center (formerly County College), Dynamic Communications, Inc., and Rio Valley Chile, Inc. to name a few.

In 2009, we began experimenting with expansions which led to our current venture as a virtual company. Shortly after, we began development of the infrastructure software behind our company. In late 2010, we directed our focus on our contractor recruiting and screening processes.
